Housemate Neo Akpofure, aka Neo Energy, has maintained his prior stance on his connection with Tolanibaj, insisting that there is nothing romantic between them, hours after his eviction from Big Brother Naija All Stars season.
On Sunday, the Delta-born model made this apparent while fielding questions from the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
He said, “Me and Tolanibaj have a friendship. There is nothing romantic between both of us.”
Tolanibaj unfollowed Neo on Instagram following his affair with Ilebaye shortly after her dismissal from the reality show.
During the Saturday night party, Neo and Ilebaye also danced and rocked the dance floor together, which he hadn’t been able to do before Tolanibaj’s eviction.
Tolanibaj had blocked other female housemates from getting too close to Neo, whom she referred to as her bestie, even though they had locked lips on multiple times in the Big Brother house before her expulsion.

Tolani claims that she was following Neo before leaving for Big Brother’s house, only to return and discover that they had all unfollowed themselves.
According to her, Neo’s manager had contacted her about the situation and had also followed her, but she refused to do so.
Tolanibaj unfollowed Neo a few weeks earlier when he was caught in a compromising situation with another female housemate, Ilebaye.
After the Big Brother house party on Saturday night, Neo and Ilebaye were observed coming very close and almost locking lips, albeit this did not happen.
During the Saturday night party, Neo and Ilebaye also danced and rocked the dance floor together, which he hadn’t been able to do before Tolanibaj’s eviction.
Tolanibaj has apparently unfollowed Neo on her Instagram page as a result of the recent love scenes displayed in the Big Brother house.
