The suspects confessed to attacking her home in Katampe Extension, Abuja, and stealing a white Honda CR-V, which they later sold. Each reportedly received ₦200,000 from the proceeds.

According to the statement, the UK-trained lawyer and journalist will be laid to rest on Saturday, October 18, 2025, following a funeral service at Saint Theresa Catholic Church, Agulu, Anambra State.
A service of songs will be held ahead of the burial on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Corpus Christi Cathedral, Kaduna Street, Port Harcourt.
Somtochukwu, a former beauty queen, died on September 29 after jumping from her third-floor apartment during a robbery attack at her residence in Katampe, Abuja.
