APC Reschedules Membership Validation/Registration Exercise.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) recently postponed its planned nationwide membership validation and registration exercise.

John Akpan UdoUdehe, the National Secretary of the Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee, made this known on Thursday at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.

He explained that the exercise, which earlier scheduled to kick off on Saturday, December 12, 2020 has now been shifted to the second week of 2021.

UdoUdehe stated that the decision to postpone the program is to ensure participation of all party members in the light of the fast-approaching Christmas and New Year activities which Christian members of the party will be fully involved in.

The statement appealed and apologized for understanding on the part of all those who may be affected by the change in plans.

He said:

“On account of several factors however, including the fast-approaching Christmas and End of Year celebrations; as well as the interest of our Christian members; and the objective of ensuring maximum participation, the CECPC has decided to shift the date of the Exercise to the second week of January 2021.

“The CECPC sincerely regrets any inconveniences that may arise out of the change in date; but appeals for the understanding of our teeming members and the general public, in the interest of preparing a solid foundation for a successful Exercise.

“The Party wishes you all; as well as members of the public, a peaceful and rewarding Yuletide, and End of Year celebration.”
