President Tinubu Retires NIMC Boss, Makes new Appointments

President Bola Tinubu has received praise for the appointment of cabinet members from the South-South Zonal Organising Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Dr. Blessing Agbomhere. Agbomhere said that President Tinubu’s action demonstrates that national interest takes precedence over regional concerns.

According to a report from Gistlover published on Monday, Tinubu swore in 45 senatorially approved ministers before appointing them as members of the Federal Executive Council. The State House Banquet Hall in Abuja hosted the inauguration.

Agbomhere praised Tinubu and congratulated the party’s women’s leader, Dr. Mary Alile Idele, on her appointment. She urged Idele to apply her wealth of philanthropic and humanitarian activism experience to the task of inspiring Nigerian women to work tirelessly for the realization of the administration’s renewed hope agenda.

Agbomhere described the women’s leader from Edo state as a steadfast figure within the APC who has made unceasing efforts to improve the party’s prospects not only in the South-South Geopolitical zone but also throughout Nigeria on Thursday while speaking to journalists in Abuja.

He expressed confidence that her inclusion on the ruling party’s National Working Committee would be extremely advantageous to the cause of the organization.

According to him, “Idele is well known for her humanitarian and philanthropic activities, which she has been carrying out through her reputable non-governmental organization and which have significantly aided in the capacity building of young girls and women.”

Agbomhere further urged the cabinet ministers, especially those from the South-South who had been appointed, to avoid corruption and betrayal of both the Nigerian state and President Bola Tinubu’s plan to change Nigeria’s socioeconomic landscape through the renewed hope agenda.

He pleaded with them to consider their appointments as acts of patriotism that would benefit their country rather than furthering their own financial well-being.

“Adopt strategies that would realize the aspirations of Nigerians who believe in President Tinubu’s capacity to rejuvenate and restore the nation’s fortunes.

Stay away from corruption and disloyalty.

Agbomhere urged the ministers to put aside power struggles and give their full attention to their duties while he issued a warning against any attempts to sabotage President Tinubu’s carefully laid out plan for a more prosperous and secure country.
