Following a recent public backlash for involving his wife, Sheila, Nigerian singer Seun Kuti has apologized to Davido’s personal logistics manager, Isreal DMW, on behalf of internet users.
Seun Kuti clarified in a new statement that many of those criticizing Israel last week would have acted similarly if he had been in his position. They appeared eager to undermine him in order to take his job.
Seun Kuti went on to say that many people have been praising Davido more than Isreal, implying a desire to take Isreal’s place.
Seun Kuti publicly apologized to Israel on behalf of those who had previously chastised him for his outburst during a contentious breakup with his wife, Sheila.
