Alex Ekubo, a Nollywood star, has chimed in on the current controversy sparked by fellow actor Zubby Michael’s daring “I can buy you” remark at their colleague, Timini Egbuson.

In a captivating video posted on Alex Ekubo’s Instagram page, the charismatic movie star was shown gallantly welcoming the distinguished Zubby Michael inside his residence, where the two exchanged regal pleasantries.

While at his humble abode, Ekubo playfully implored Zubby Michael not to buy him, in response to the latter’s snarky remark about Timini Egbuson during his appearance on the television show “Ebuka Turns Up Africa”.

In a smart response, Zubby teasingly stated that Ekubo is not among the people he would consider buying. Alex then brought Zubby to his personal movie room, where he generously served him to wonderful refreshments.

They enjoyed watching the developing episodes together, particularly Zubby’s memorable moments on the “Ebuka Turns Up Africa” show.

Zubby proclaimed himself Africa’s ‘biggest actor’. He was quickly challenged by his colleague, Timini, who contended that the Zubby is not bigger than him.

Zubby quickly responded, bragging about having the money to buy Timini, which amused Ebuka and the other guests on the show.

Timini, enraged, responded to Michael’s remark in the recorded episode by simply saying that Zubby did not know enough about him to make such a statement.

Timini brazenly claimed that Zubby and his group of Igbo compatriots, proudly flaunt borrowed cars and luxurious lifestyles on social media platforms, casting doubt on his assertions.
