VeryDarkMan Knocks Security Agencies During Abuja Anti-Terror Protest

Social media activist and influencer VeryDarkMan has sparked reactions online after criticizing security agencies while leading the “Terrorists Must Go” protest in Abuja.

Addressing protesters, VeryDarkMan questioned the effectiveness of some security personnel present at the demonstration, particularly members of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

“You Nigerian soldiers standing here know the truth. Even the Civil Defence personnel standing here, e never tey una get level. I don’t even know what una dey do here too,” he said.

The activist also referenced the recent attack in Kogi State, where armed bandits reportedly invaded a school community, resulting in multiple deaths.

“Just yesterday, being 10th June 2026, kidnappers went to Kogi State and struck,” he added.

The protest, which focused on rising insecurity, kidnapping, and terrorism across the country, drew attention online as videos of VeryDarkMan’s remarks circulated on social media.

Many Nigerians reacted to his comments, with some praising him for speaking out against insecurity, while others accused him of politicising the issue.
