- A church member who recently criticized RCCG leadership has alleged that his life is in danger after receiving threats demanding that he delete his viral videos.
- He claims unknown callers warned him to take down the videos and says he has been forced to leave his residence over safety concerns.

The church member who recently sparked controversy after accusing the leadership of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) of allegedly cancelling a planned peaceful protest against insecurity has claimed that his life is now in danger following a series of alleged threats.
The man, whose video criticizing RCCG General Overseer Enoch Adeboye went viral on social media, appealed to Nigerians for protection, alleging that unknown individuals contacted him through private phone numbers and demanded that he take down his videos.
“Please, I want you all to protect and save my life. As I’m speaking to you, my life is in danger because of the truth I have just spoken out. There is nobody that can protect me except you Nigerians,” he said.
According to him, the alleged threats began shortly after his videos gained attention online.
“Yesterday, two different private numbers called me. The first person that called me said, ‘Bring down your video or we will track you down.’ Immediately I dropped that first call, the second person called and said, ‘You have 24 hours to bring down your videos,’” he alleged.
The church member further claimed that the situation had become serious enough to force him to leave his residence due to concerns about his safety.
“Presently, I’m moving out of my place this morning because there have been a lot of threats. I will not bow down to any pressure because I stand with the truth,” he added.
Despite the alleged threats, he maintained that he would not be intimidated into silence and insisted that there are issues within the church that deserve attention and discussion.
His latest claims have generated mixed reactions online, with some Nigerians expressing concern for his safety and calling for an investigation into the alleged threats, while others questioned the circumstances surrounding the controversy.
The development comes days after he alleged that a planned peaceful protest against insecurity was called off on the instruction of Oluremi Tinubu, a claim that continues to fuel debate across social media platforms.
