“Don’t Make Marrying A Rich Man Your Life Goal”- Ivy Ifeoma Speaks On Self-Reliance

  • Ivy Ifeoma, wife of singer Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), emphasizes the importance of personal success in marriage.
  • She encourages women to focus on financial independence rather than solely seeking wealthy partners.
  • Ivy acknowledges that marrying a wealthy individual can enhance quality of life but stresses it shouldn’t be the primary motivation for relationships.

Ivy Ifeoma, the wife of singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has shared her thoughts on marriage, wealth, and financial independence, encouraging women to prioritize personal success over the search for a rich partner.

Speaking on the importance of self-sufficiency, Ivy explained that although marrying a wealthy person can open doors and improve one’s quality of life, it should not be the main reason for entering a relationship.

She pointed out that a partner’s financial resources ultimately belong to them, making it essential for women to establish their own sources of income and long-term financial security.

According to Ivy, qualities such as kindness, generosity, and good character should carry more weight when choosing a life partner than financial status alone.

She also revealed that she had achieved financial stability before meeting Rudeboy, using her experience to encourage women to invest in their careers, personal development, and wealth-building efforts rather than depending on marriage as a means of financial advancement.

Her words in part …

“This is my take on the idea of marrying a rich man and before you come for me, know that I was a millionaire before I met this man

To be honest, marrying a rich man should not be anybody’s primary goal. Because why would you even have the primary goal of marrying somebody else because they are rich, at the end of the day it’s their money, not your money. I’d rather you stay in marriage with a generous person. But don’t get me wrong but marrying rich is a very good add-on because it can open doors of opportunities for you, but what I will tell you to do as a woman is to get rich…”
