The organisers of the popular reality TV show Big Brother Naija have announced the commencement of physical auditions for Season 11, scheduled to begin on May 22 across Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu.
In a statement shared via Instagram, the organisers disclosed that online registration opened on May 16 and will run until May 20, 2026.
They added that only Nigerian citizens who are 21 years and above, and who possess valid identification documents, are eligible to take part in the audition process.
According to them, “Biggie is calling again, and this season promises to be bigger and more competitive. Interested participants are advised to complete their registration early as slots are limited.”
Successful applicants will move on to the physical screening stage, which is set to hold from May 22 to May 24 in the three designated cities. The organisers also stressed that the audition process is completely free.
In another update, they noted, “We are bringing back physical auditions to reconnect directly with fans and discover unique personalities from different parts of the country. Viewers should expect another thrilling season packed with entertainment and surprises.”
The return to in-person auditions marks a shift away from the virtual and hybrid formats used in recent editions, aimed at widening participation.
Recall that Season 10 of Big Brother Naija ended on October 5, 2025, with Opeyemi Ayanwale, also known as Imisi, emerging winner after defeating 28 other finalists to clinch the grand prize.
