The announcement was made on Tuesday, May 12, with organisers unveiling the full schedule for the upcoming Grammy season and confirming when various stages of the awards process will take place.
According to the schedule, the eligibility period for entries runs from August 31, 2025, to August 28, 2026. During this time, artists and record labels will be able to submit their projects for consideration across all award categories, with the entry window opening from July 7 to August 21, 2026.
First-round voting is set for October 12 to October 22, 2026, when members of the Recording Academy will review submissions and determine the nominees. The official nominations will then be announced on November 16, 2026.
Final-round voting, which decides the winners, will take place from December 10, 2026, to January 7, 2027.
In a notable update, the 2027 Grammys will be broadcast live on ABC and, for the first time, also streamed on Disney+ and Hulu, expanding access for global viewers.
The main ceremony will be held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, continuing its long-standing tradition as the home of the awards show.
The organisers also encouraged fans and industry stakeholders to keep track of all key milestones throughout the season, noting that excitement for “Music’s Biggest Night” officially begins with the release of the schedule.
