Human rights activist and politician Omoyele Sowore has addressed recent comments made by social media personality VeryDarkMan, who questioned his political ambition.

During a recent exchange, Sowore was asked about VeryDarkMan’s remarks suggesting he could never become Nigeria’s president. Responding, the activist dismissed the criticism, stating that he had no interest in engaging in a public back-and-forth.

“I already said I don’t want to batter with him cos he does it for contents,” Sowore said.

He went further to highlight his role in the release of popular businessman BLORD, clarifying what he described as misconceptions surrounding the situation.

“The most important thing is that BLORD is out, he got released because of me, he would have still been in pr!s0n now if we hadn’t intervened, anybody that’s telling you that VDM released BLORD didn’t know what the trick was,” he added.

Sowore’s comments come amid ongoing online debates about BLORD’s release and the roles played by different individuals, with conflicting claims continuing to circulate across social media platforms.
