US-based gospel singer David Ayuba, who is married to media personality Mayowa Lambe, has reacted publicly following recent allegations involving his partner.
Earlier, Mayowa Lambe issued a cease-and-desist notice to her former partner, Roby Ekpo, accusing him of spreading false and damaging claims. She maintained that there is no valid marital tie between them and stated that verifiable evidence exists to counter his assertions. In the notice, she demanded that he immediately stop making defamatory remarks, remove any misleading content, publish a public apology and retraction, and pay N100 million in damages.
Taking to his Instagram story, David Ayuba shared a copy of the legal notice sent to Ekpo and accompanied it with a series of subtle messages.
In one post, he emphasized resilience, stating that the journey to success requires strength and leaves no room for weakness. He added that those close to him understand his position, and he feels no obligation to explain himself.
“The path to greatness leaves no room for weakness, only strength. The ones in my corner understand me. I don’t owe explanations, and that’s enough,” he wrote.
In another message, he suggested that while false information may spread quickly, the truth eventually surfaces with consequences.
“Falsehood may travel fast, but truth arrives with consequences,” he added.
