Drama unfolded at the recent movie premiere hosted by Iyabo Ojo after social media personality Papaya Ex reportedly lost her phone during the event.

The situation escalated when she reportedly tried to search the bag of Nollywood actress Wunmi Toriola, drawing attention from other attendees.

The incident has since sparked mixed reactions on social media, with several users criticising her approach and questioning the decision to single out guests at a public event. Others, however, sympathised with her, noting that losing a valuable item can lead to panic-driven actions.

In other news…. Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has opened up on the alleged reason his relationship with fellow actress Funke Akindele broke down.

Speaking during a live TikTok session, Fabiyi revealed that their once-close friendship came to an abrupt end after a conversation about his personal achievement.

According to him, the last time they spoke was the day he informed Akindele that he had completed his house project.

“Our industry is very terrible. Those whom you think are good people aren’t. Funke Akindele was my friend from way back. The day I told her that I had completed my house was the last day she ever talked to me, and I didn’t offend her.”

Fabiyi said he could not point to any disagreement or wrongdoing on his part that would have caused the sudden silence, adding that he was left disappointed by how things ended.

Reflecting on his experience in the film industry, the actor described it as a space where appearances can be misleading, noting that people who seem kind or sincere in public may act differently behind the scenes.
