Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has broken her silence following an awkward moment involving her colleague Funke Akindele at a recent movie premiere.
The incident, which occurred at Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere on Sunday, quickly went viral after a clip showed Funke allegedly ignoring Toyin’s greeting.
In the video, Funke was seen seated alongside Iyabo Ojo and Mercy Aigbe when Toyin approached to greet them. However, many viewers were surprised when Funke appeared to snub her, leaving Toyin visibly embarrassed.
Reacting to the development, Toyin did not hold back as she expressed her displeasure.
“I have unfollowed her. God forbid bad thing. If I ever greet her again, that means I am a bastard.”
Toyin also confirmed that she has unfollowed Funke on social media following the incident.
The situation has reignited talks of a possible rift between the two actresses, especially as it comes months after they were seen sharing a friendly moment. At Toke Makinwa’s daughter’s dedication late last year, Toyin was spotted kneeling to greet Funke, who warmly acknowledged her.
