A young lady has recounted a troubling experience in which she claims she was attacked while filming an incident involving police officers outside a gym.
In her account, the situation began as she was leaving the facility and noticed officers attempting to apprehend a man who had just exited the premises in his car. Other gym-goers reportedly stepped in, urging the driver to return while also questioning the officers’ actions.
Amid the tension, the woman said she stood at a distance and started recording the scene on her phone.
“I was minding my business, trying to capture what was happening, when a man wearing a green sweater suddenly approached me and slapped me,” she said. “He didn’t warn me or ask me to stop recording or delete the video he just hit me without any provocation and tried to take my phone.”
She explained that she resisted his attempt to seize her device, which led to a brief struggle before people nearby intervened and separated them.
The woman added that the incident left her feeling shaken and embarrassed, stressing that she had done nothing to warrant the attack.
She added, “Why would you lay your hands on me? Did I steal or commit any crime? Even my mum has never slapped me before. If what you were doing was legal, why be scared of being captured on camera?”
