A lady’s social media post explaining why her best friend’s iPhone 17 was destroyed has sparked widespread reactions online.
The lady, identified on X (formerly Twitter) as @Vaphor, claimed that the phone was smashed by her friend’s boyfriend during a heated confrontation.
According to her, the couple first met while they were both students at the university, and their relationship appeared stable at the time.
However, she said things began to change after the boyfriend started facing financial struggles. His behaviour reportedly shifted, and he became distant.
Part of the post reads: “His whole attitude changed completely. He barely comes home anymore, lies to her saying he’s traveling for work when he’s actually going to see other girls.”
Vaphor explained that her friend eventually confronted him about his sudden change in behaviour.
The situation allegedly escalated during the confrontation, with the boyfriend reportedly lashing out, assaulting her and smashing her iPhone 17.
She added that she had advised her friend to consider taking legal action against the man, noting that the couple had previously taken an oath together.
Vaphor also turned to other social media users for advice on the situation, asking: “Now she’s stuck wondering if she should keep staying in a situation that hurts her or finally walk away. What would you do in her place? Should she stay or leave?”
