Nigerian woman Izzy Ogbeide has shared her experience while recounting the challenges faced by young women involved in prostitution in Italy, including alleged neglect from religious institutions.
Speaking about the situation, she said, “When we were involved in prostitution in Italy, churches never helped us especially Black-owned churches. They knew about it and even took part in it.”
Ogbeide further claimed that some pastors were aware that young girls were being trafficked but failed to intervene. She stated, “Pastors in Italy were aware that young girls are being trafficked, yet they do nothing.”
According to her, the only support they received at the time came from the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, which provided basic health support. She explained, “The only organization that reached out to us was the Red Cross, which provided condoms.”

His words …
“Having confided with @the_beardedsina, he went to the hospital this morning to visit the lady and get the cost of the hospital bills. The lady doesn’t have money to cover anything and will remain in hospital for a while because 2 of the kids are premature.
We got an estimated bill for her from the hospital, and we have sent N2m to them. The money would cover the bill, and the balance will get some necessaries for the babies. @the_beardedsina will explain the medical aspect to you guys.
