Former Big Brother Naija All Stars winner Ilebaye Odiniya has ignited debate online after undergoing a facial and nose rejuvenation procedure, despite being just 24 years old.
The cosmetic enhancement, recently shared in a viral video, showcased both the process and the results, quickly attracting attention and sparking widespread discussion on social media.
Many Nigerians expressed surprise and concern, questioning why someone so young would choose to alter her natural features. The procedure reportedly focused on enhancing her facial contours and refining the bridge of her nose, aiming to preserve a youthful appearance without making dramatic changes.
Although the changes were subtle, the timing has raised questions, as it comes just two years after Ilebaye captured national attention by winning the 2023 BBNaija All Stars edition at age 22. Her victory over older, more experienced contestants earned her the ₦120 million grand prize and made her a household name almost immediately.
Critics argue that at 24, natural youth should be enough, fueling much of the backlash. The discussion was further intensified by the recent death of Nigerian socialite Elena Jessica following a botched BBL surgery, highlighting the risks of cosmetic procedures and making the public more cautious about young celebrities pursuing medical enhancements.
