- Music executive Soso Soberekon has pledged ₦50 million to Carter Efe for participating in the match.

Controversial street-hop artiste, Portable, has reacted to the proposed celebrity boxing clash with Carter Efe, raising the financial demand tied to the showdown.
The development comes after music executive Soso Soberekon reportedly pledged ₦50 million to Carter Efe during a recent visit to businessman E-Money’s residence. Soberekon stated that the cash reward would only be handed over if Carter Efe agreed to face Portable in the boxing ring.
Responding to the offer, Portable dismissed the ₦50 million prize as insufficient. The singer insisted that he would only accept the fight under new terms — ₦50 million in cash alongside a luxury vehicle valued at ₦300 million, raising his total demand to ₦350 million.
Portable further bolstered his stance by recalling his previous celebrity boxing encounters with Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington, expressing confidence in his track record and fighting skills.
He said in part …
“Soso, 50 million naira is too little. Give me 50 million naira plus a car worth ₦300 million totaling ₦350 million and I’ll b3&7 Carter Efe mercilessly. I’m the same guy who b3&7 Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington. If you go collect money say you wan fight me you go die. I go just carry your matter go give Ogun…”
