A young man in Kogi State has reportedly been arrested by his own father following a viral video in which he claimed he could “sacrifice his parents for the All Progressives Congress (APC).”
The young man, identified on social media as Mc Isa Aha, shared the video earlier in the week, but it quickly sparked intense backlash online due to the controversial statement he made.
The clip circulated widely across social media platforms, drawing strong condemnation from many Nigerians who described the remark as disturbing and reckless. Several users criticised what they viewed as an extreme display of political loyalty that crossed moral boundaries.

According to a social media post by a close friend of the young man, his father took action after watching the viral video. The friend revealed that the arrest reportedly occurred on Tuesday evening.

“Mc Isa Aha was arrested by his father this evening about the video he was dropping since that he can sacrifice his parent for APC.
“Please my good people, I want us to beg his father to release my friend. It is a mistake and it would never repeat itself again.”
