Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has accused her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of being responsible for allegations claiming that she and her family stole $40,000 from him.
According to reports circulating online, the senator allegedly secured an arrest warrant against Regina and some of her family members over the alleged theft.
Speaking during a live video session, a relative of the actress identified as Speedy revealed that she had been invited by the police for questioning concerning the accusation. Regina later claimed that it had been confirmed that Ned was the one who lodged the complaint.
The actress also alleged that an arrest warrant had been issued for her and certain members of her family in connection with the matter.
Questioning the allegation, Regina expressed disbelief, stating that Ned does not keep cash at home, making the claim questionable.
“Ned doesn’t even keep money at home, so which one is we stole $40,000?” she said.
In the same video, Speedy challenged Ned to provide CCTV footage to back up the allegation, noting that the house is equipped with surveillance cameras.
Regina further maintained that Speedy was not present in the house on the day the alleged theft was said to have occurred.
As tensions escalated during the exchange, Regina appealed to Speedy to stay calm and head back inside with her elder brother, Sammy.
“Oya, go inside, go inside. Carry brother Sammy, everybody, go inside,” Regina pleaded.
