Popular teenage streamer, Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja, popularly known as Peller, has retrieved the engagement ring he once gave to his former girlfriend, Amadou “Jarvis” Elizabeth, weeks after their widely discussed and controversial breakup.
Peller revealed this during a recent livestream with his fans, where he proudly displayed the ring and spoke about the emotional and financial effort he put into buying it at the time he proposed to Jarvis.
The content creator, who was previously reported to have narrowly avoided jail after crashing his car during the breakup period, disclosed that he bought the ring when he was not financially stable. Despite his struggles, he said he went all out because he was genuinely serious about the proposal.
According to Peller, the ring cost him $4,000, which is estimated to be around ₦6 million. He added that although the ring has been returned to him, he does not plan to sell or throw it away but intends to keep it indoors.
While showing the ring during the livestream, he said:
“See it guys. They gave me back my ring. I can’t take it out, it will just be inside. I bought it $4,000 when I never guide well. This ring cost, I bought it for the proposal.”
His revelation has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many sympathising with him over his losses, while others applauded his honesty about the sacrifices he made during the relationship.
Although details surrounding their breakup remain unclear, Jarvis recently stated during an emotional livestream that she desires a man who listens to her and understands that her “no means no.”
During the peak of their split, Peller was involved in a car accident that reportedly left him with repair costs of about ₦11 million. Meanwhile, Jarvis has been focusing on her content creation journey after abandoning the AI persona that previously brought her recognition. It is worth recalling that during their relationship, many fans accused her of putting her niche aside for love, as she frequently appeared on livestreams with and without Peller at the time.
