President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has celebrated the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief Nyesom Wike, on his 58th birthday today, December 13.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu praised Wike’s performance in office and his contributions to national development.
The President thanked God for Wike’s “life marked by service, purpose and courage”. He described Wike as an “audacious and result-oriented leader who consistently overcomes challenges to deliver impactful projects”.
Tinubu highlighted the Minister’s success in transforming FCT infrastructure. Specifically, he mentioned Wike’s role in resolving the 14-year delay in the construction of the Apo–Karshi Road, calling it a significant milestone for connectivity in the nation’s capital.
The President hailed Wike as “one of the shining stars in the cabinet,” an exceptional performer who is developing FCT infrastructure “as never seen before”. Tinubu added that Wike has proven his moniker as ‘Mr Project’ is not limited to his home state of Rivers, praising his resilience and “can-do” attitude.
