Former Anambra State Governor and immediate past Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, has reportedly been arrested in Abuja and is said to be in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The news of the arrest broke late Wednesday night after a statement surfaced online attributed to his former media aide, Fred Chukwulobe.

The sudden development has sparked widespread reactions across the country, with many political observers awaiting full details regarding the grounds for the arrest and the focus of the ongoing inquiries by the anti-graft agency.

Anita Joseph fired back, responding, “Come make me.”
