The Deeper Christian Life Ministry has debunked a viral report falsely claiming that its founder, Pastor William F. Kumuyi, accused America of trying to steal Nigeria’s resources while denying Christian persecution.

In an official statement, the church described the report published by an unverified platform, Ibomfocus as “malicious and completely fabricated,” clarifying that Pastor Kumuyi has not held any press conference in Lagos and is currently abroad for gospel missions in Oceania and the Far East.

Reaffirming his apolitical stance, the church stated that Kumuyi’s focus remains on evangelism and moral transformation, not politics.

The ministry urged the public to ignore the fake report and rely only on verified communications from its official platforms, warning that those spreading false information could face legal action.\
