Recently evicted Big Brother Naija Season 10 contestant, Big Soso, has opened up about the much-talked-about quarrel with fellow housemate Dede that grabbed headlines during the show.
In a chat on Yup Weekly Tea with Princess, where she appeared alongside fellow evictees Doris and Ivatar, Big Soso explained that the disagreement ran deeper than the viral “three fishes” comment that initially drew public attention.
According to her, the real tension began over what she felt was Dede’s unwillingness to work as part of a team especially when it came to cooking duties in the house.
“The kitchen is a safe zone. Cooking brings joy, and even if someone is upset with you, a good meal can ease the mood,” she said.
Big Soso recalled that matters worsened after Dede jokingly referred to her close friends Kola, Koyin, and Jason Jae as her “three fishes.” Encouraged by housemate Mide, she decided to confront Dede, telling her she often put herself first and needed to be more inclusive.
“I told her I felt she wasn’t supportive or a team player. She replied defensively, admitting she can be selfish, and things escalated from there,” Big Soso recounted.
Although the argument quickly intensified, Big Soso acknowledged that some of her own remarks were harsher than necessary. Reflecting on the incident, she concluded that true beauty lies not just in physical looks but also in character, integrity, and the ability to work well with others.
