Dangote Reps Take Custody Of Phyna’s Late Sister’s Body After Tragic Death

As Nigerians continue to mourn the death of Ruth Otabor, the younger sister of Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Phyna, new details have emerged about the handling of her remains.

Reports indicate that officials from the Dangote Group on Sunday retrieved Ruth’s body from the hospital where she passed away.

Ruth had previously undergone a leg amputation after a tragic accident with a Dangote truck in Auchi, Edo State. Unfortunately, she died on August 31. Her family later confirmed the sad news in a statement released through Eko Solicitors & Advocates.

According to PUNCH, a family source revealed that representatives of Dangote Group were contacted immediately after her passing and subsequently moved her remains to the mortuary.

“When she died this morning, the representatives of Dangote Group were contacted and notified. They later came and took the corpse to the mortuary. We are expecting that they take over the expenses of her burial, since they had stepped in to take over her medical expenses,” the source, who pleaded anonymity, said.

Another relative remembered Ruth as a cheerful and affectionate person.
