In other news, An anonymous message sent via Instagram has stirred widespread debate online after a 16-year-old girl revealed her pregnancy and made an unusual request.
The girl, who addressed her message to a woman identified as “Ma Rita,” disclosed that her boyfriend had denied responsibility for the pregnancy. Despite the denial, she expressed faith in God’s plan, stating that it was not her main concern.
Instead, the teenager said her greatest desire was to give birth to her first child abroad a lifelong dream she hopes to fulfil despite her current circumstances. She appealed for financial assistance from anyone willing to sponsor her delivery outside Nigeria.
“Ma, I’ve always dreamt of delivering my first child abroad. Please, I need someone who will sponsor my delivery outside the country so as to fulfil my dreams,” part of the message read.
The request, which quickly went viral after being shared on social media, has sparked mixed reactions. While some netizens expressed sympathy for the girl’s situation, others criticised her priorities, pointing out that she should focus on her health and well-being rather than overseas childbirth.
