A Nigerian man, Kayode Aloyinlapa, has shared his surprise after someone he once tried to match with a partner announced the birth of a baby boy—just six months after seeking help to find a woman for a relationship.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, August 14, Kayode said the incident is one of the reasons he has decided to stop matchmaking people.
“You see why I stopped matchmaking? A man who came begging me to match make him around February this year just announced the arrival of his Baby boy last week. Can you imagine? So, while another lady was pregnant for him, he was begging me for matchmaking! You see life?,” he wrote.

Her message was unmistakable: “It’s not a free trade. You’re losing more than you’re receiving. No one says you shouldn’t smke — heck, who am I to judge? But don’t ever think wd is just wd. It’s not just w*d.”
