Nigerian comedian Klintoncod has sparked discussion online after questioning Cubana Chief Priest’s reason for being absent at Davido’s wedding in Miami.
Cubana Chief Priest, popularly known as the celebrity barman, had earlier claimed he was unable to attend the high-profile event because his US visa application was denied, expressing regret over missing the celebration.
In a recent post on X, Klintoncod cast doubt on the socialite’s explanation, pointing out that Isreal DMW Davido’s aide, known for his limited English skills—was able to make the trip to Miami without issues.
“Chief Priest’s story about being denied a US visa doesn’t add up to me. Israel, who barely speaks English, entered Miami, but a billionaire like Chief Priest was denied while his wife and kids got theirs. He knows why he’s avoiding US soil,” Klintoncod wrote.
One social media user came to Cubana Chief Priest’s defense, recalling that he once admitted to being refused a US visa years ago, before his fame, after applying through an agent.
Klintoncod, however, remained doubtful, dismissing the explanation as “Dead talk still!!”
