Nigerian Afrobeats icon Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has come under fire from supporters of fellow music star David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, following a social media post he made during Davido’s white wedding festivities in Miami, Florida.
On Saturday, August 9, Wizkid resurfaced on X (formerly Twitter) after a brief break, posting a cryptic two-word message: “One condition.”
The timing of the post drew attention, as it coincided with Davido’s lavish wedding celebration with his wife, Chioma.
It will be recalled that in 2024, Wizkid and Davido engaged in a heated online exchange that stirred intense debates among fans, with their respective supporters taking sides.
Although it remains unclear whether Wizkid’s recent tweet hinted at a new music project or something unrelated, the post quickly went viral. Many members of Davido’s loyal fanbase, the 30BG, perceived it as a subtle jab and criticized the singer for making such a statement during the wedding festivities.
