A concerned Nigerian has shared a video drawing attention to what he described as poor drainage design on parts of the newly built Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road.
In the clip, the man points out sections where drainage systems were either missing or incorrectly positioned, warning that this could lead to flooding or structural problems in the future.
“I’m on the coastal road, and I can’t understand why the drainage hasn’t been properly placed here,” he said while recording the site around Ogombo Road in Ajah, near Landmark Estate Boulevard and behind Chartered House School.
He urged the relevant authorities to deploy engineers to inspect and fix the issue, adding that this was not the only affected section.
“This is not the only place we have this,” he added. “We have this on several parts of the road.”
