Leader of the Ratel Movement, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), has once again criticized actress Iyabo Ojo over her remarks regarding the late singer Mohbad.
VDM had earlier accused the actress of failing to honour an alleged agreement to apologise to singer Naira Marley after a meeting at the police station. He backed his claims by sharing parts of a WhatsApp group chat involving the actress.
Following Iyabo Ojo’s live video where she addressed the matter and shared her side of the story, VDM labelled her a liar, pointing out what he described as inconsistencies in her statements.
In a new reaction, the activist mocked Iyabo Ojo for calling the “Justice for Mohbad” campaign a distraction. He replayed the part of her video where she claimed to be focused on advocating for the public over economic hardship.
VDM insisted he found no such advocacy on her social media pages and questioned why she had suddenly withdrawn from the justice movement she once championed. He laughed off her comments, saying her stance was surprising and disappointing.
Supporters of VDM flooded the comment section, accusing the actress of emotional blackmail and playing the victim. Some also referenced her role in the Baba Ijesha scandal, claiming she actively pushed for his downfall but is now backtracking under public scrutiny.
