Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has turned down a N100 million offer to engage in a physical fight with outspoken social media personality VeryDarkMan (VDM).
The “Zazuu” crooner, who is currently entangled in an ongoing online feud with VDM, dismissed the offer as too low, claiming that such an amount is regularly gifted to him by his fans.
The tension between the two escalated after Portable publicly criticised VDM over his statements about President Bola Tinubu’s administration. What started as online banter quickly intensified, with both personalities hurling insults at each other on social media.
In a recent statement, Portable made it clear that only a N1 billion offer would convince him to step into a fight with VDM.
Portable said, “That N100m, my fans give it to me. N100m is too small for me to fight VDM. Let them give me one billion, and I will fight him and beat him.
“If anybody can drop N1bn, I will fight him. Someone you can’t hold, you are now asking me to fight and beat him. You are scared of him; you can’t jail him.”
The singer’s bold remarks have stirred mixed reactions online, with fans weighing in on the ongoing beef and the jaw-dropping amount he’s demanding.
