Sabinus Throws Sarcastic Jab at Chelsea Fans After Historic Win

Popular Nigerian comedian, Mr Sabinus, has humorously reacted to Chelsea’s emphatic victory over Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the final of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

Despite being a staunch supporter of Liverpool FC, Sabinus took to his official Instagram page to sarcastically congratulate Chelsea, following their 3-0 win over the French giants.

As previously reported by Entertainment Region, the final took place on July 13, 2025, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA. Chelsea’s goals came courtesy of Cole Palmer, who scored in the 22nd and 30th minutes, and João Pedro, who sealed the win with a strike in the 43rd minute.

Chelsea’s victory surprised many fans, especially considering PSG had already eliminated several football heavyweights, including Liverpool, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Inter Milan. This led many to expect PSG to overpower Chelsea in the final.

In response to the unexpected outcome, Sabinus shared a hilarious video on Instagram, playfully jabbing at Chelsea fans. He claimed, in jest, that 80% of Chelsea supporters in Nigeria are Okada (commercial motorcycle) riders.

He humorously warned Nigerians to be extra cautious when boarding Okadas in the coming days, suggesting that some riders might be so overjoyed by Chelsea’s win that they could attempt to “race with trailers.” Sabinus also jokingly recommended choosing Okada riders who support Arsenal, as, according to him, they rarely speed being “unmotivated by anything.”

He captioned the video:
“Congratulations Chelsea FC. But please listen if you de outside 🏃‍♀️🤣.”

While Sabinus’ remarks were clearly made in jest, his video has sparked online discussions and laughter among fans, especially in the wake of Chelsea’s unexpected triumph.

In other news, Controversial actor Uche Maduagwu has dismissed claims that Judy Austin used charms on Yul Edochie, saying Yul chose her because she treated him with respect, not because of “juju.”.

“Judy did not use juju for Yul Edochie,” he wrote. “She only treated him like the king that his wife refused to treat him like in marriage. 80% of women treat their man like kings before wedding but forget to continue after wedding.”

Maduagwu suggested many marriages fail because some wives stop emotionally investing after marriage, treating husbands as equals rather than as kings, contrary to traditional and biblical expectations.

“Do I support what Judy did to my Queen May? No,” Uche clarified. “Everyone knows I no dey support am, but this should also be a good lesson to married women. So many married men are being neglected in their marriages but they can’t complain.”

“Many married women now see their husbands as partners and not lords, like Sarah saw Abraham in the Bible. Every married man wants to be treated like a king every day, but how many are being treated like kings?” he added.
