Veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has embarked on a trip to Zambia, where he is attending the African Creatives Business Summit in Lusaka.
Popularly known as “Nnayi Sacrifice,” Kanayo took to social media to share a video of himself aboard a flight, informing fans of his destination. In the caption, he wrote, “Off to Lusaka, Zambia for the African Creatives Business Summit.”
The actor also posted several clips showing enthusiastic fans approaching him for pictures, highlighting the warm welcome he received upon arrival.
Reports from Zambia also indicate that fellow Nollywood actor Tony Umez is expected to attend the summit as well.
Meanwhile, Kanayo recently made headlines for criticizing the symbolism of black smoke used by Catholic cardinals during certain ceremonies. He described the use of black to denote failure and white to represent success as a form of “blackmail” against Africans, arguing that such symbolism perpetuates negative stereotypes about Black people globally.
