Former Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido has vowed to do everything possible to unseat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections. Speaking on Arise TV, Lamido expressed support for any coalition aimed at removing the current administration, joining forces with key political figures like Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and others. He criticized Tinubu’s government for promoting ethnic division and using state power to suppress the opposition, claiming the administration prioritizes party interests over the people.
He said, “I am part of any arrangement, no matter its nomenclature, to remove this government of incompetence, insecurity, that is dividing Nigeria firmly between north and south, out of power. I will go into any arrangement for that purpose.
“I will be part of any arrangement, configuration if it is going to remove this government from power.”
