The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has promised to engage the media interactively after the forthcoming elections in 2023.

He made the promise while speaking at Chatham House, London, United Kingdom, where he also expressed confidence that the electorates will vote for him.

With the general election less than 90 days away, the APC flagbearer gave a lecture in UK titled: ‘Nigeria’s 2023 elections: In conversation with Bola Ahmed Tinubu.’

The former governor of Lagos state also said he is ready to take on the task of leading the country while providing technology-driven growth and development.

Tinubu said; “I have confidence that the Nigerian people will go to the polls in a few short months and give me their mandate.

“I’m ready to lead and govern the country. I will return here to interact with you when the elections are over.”

Meanwhile, his PDP counterpart, Atiku Abubakar described Tinubu’s outing at the Chatham House, London as disgraceful.

A statement by spokesperson of the Atiku/Okowa presidential campaign council, Kola Ologbondiyan, on Monday, said the outing is a confirmation to Nigerians and the world that Tinubu had no business contesting for the highest office in Nigeria.

He alleged that the APC flagbearer, if elected, intends to transfer the onerous task of governing the nation to proxies and a cabals.

The PDP campaign urged Tinubu to take time to rest and attend to himself rather than engage in gaffes. Ologbondiyan enjoined the former Lagos state governor’s handlers to stop embarrassing him by always pushing him to make public appearances, even when they are aware of his many incompetence.
