Actor Yul Edochie has recounted his last moment with the late founder of the Africa Movies Academy Awards (AMAA), Peace Anyiam-Osigwe.
Peace Anyiam-Osigwe reportedly passed away at the St. Nicholas Hospital, Lagos, on Monday, January 9, after a short illness.
The news of her death was shared by her colleague Obi Emelonye, she wrote on her social media page, “Thank you and good night dada Peace.”
Yul Edochie has also taken to his page to mourn the President of the Association of Movie Producers, AMP, Peace Anyiam-Osigwe. He recounted how he had a phone conversation with Peace Anyiam where she told him all the plans she has laid down for the movie industry.
He wrote: “Life is so uncertain. Just a few weeks ago I had a phone conversation with her where she told me the plans she had for Nollywood in 2023 and commended me for my work. Today she’s gone. Rest well Madam Peace Anyiam-Osigwe. May God grant your family the strength to bear the loss”.
