  • Jectimi highlighted issues within the Nigerian entertainment industry, labeling it as hypocritical and filled with “fake love.”

Nigerian comedian Jectimi has shared a candid message to actress Iyabo Ojo amid her ongoing clash with controversial social media figure VeryDarkMan. The entertainer delivered his remarks in a video posted on Instagram, accompanied by a caption that sparked reactions online.

Jectimi noted that although Iyabo Ojo holds a higher status and reputation than VeryDarkMan, her recent actions have not reflected the level of composure expected from someone of her caliber. He also used the opportunity to criticize the Nigerian entertainment industry, describing it as a space dominated by hypocrisy and “fake love.”

In the viral clip, the comedian expressed disappointment over a WhatsApp group Iyabo reportedly created, which became a hot topic after leaked messages surfaced. The leaks, shared by VeryDarkMan, revealed the actress criticizing singer Davido for maintaining a relationship with Naira Marley during the heated period surrounding the death of late singer Mohbad.

According to Jectimi, Iyabo’s approach was unnecessary and risky for her public image. He argued that rather than backbiting in a private chat, she could have simply reached out to Davido directly since she had access to him. He further mocked the situation, highlighting that despite her comments in the group, she still attended Davido’s wedding celebration.

Jectimi also faulted Iyabo’s decision to go live on social media to defend herself against VeryDarkMan’s accusations, stating that it made her appear emotional and reactive rather than composed and professional. He accused members of the “Justice for Mohbad” group of playing double roles advocating for justice in public while indulging in petty behavior privately.

Ending his message, the comedian advised Iyabo Ojo to step away from online dramas and concentrate on protecting her brand. He emphasized that his remarks were not an attack but a sincere piece of advice, urging her to reflect on her actions.
