- A viral video has sparked online debate after a man claimed that men who do not financially provide for their partners cannot be considered masculine.
- While some social media users supported his stance, others dismissed it as outdated and impractical.

A man has ignited widespread debate on social media after declaring that a man cannot truly be considered masculine if he does not financially provide for his girlfriend or wife.
In a viral video, he argued that once a man is financially capable, he should take full responsibility for his partner’s expenses. According to him, masculinity goes beyond paying for dates and meals and extends to covering all aspects of a woman’s financial needs.
“You can’t call yourself a man if you’re not paying for everything,” he said. “You pay for the dates, the trips, her meals, her nails, her hair. Men who don’t like to hear this are not men. If you have it, provide.”
He further advised men who are not yet financially stable to avoid dating altogether and instead focus on self-improvement, saving, and building their financial capacity.
“If you don’t have it, you shouldn’t be dating. Get your account right, improve yourself first. But if you have your life together, you should provide. A girlfriend or wife should not be worrying about money,” he added.
The video has since sparked mixed reactions online. See some of the reactions below:
