The woman, identified on X (formerly Twitter) as @PopoolaJoke4, shared a heartfelt post thanking Don Jazzy for the financial support that, according to her, played a significant role in transforming her life. She revealed that the assistance she received months ago helped set her on a new path, culminating in her recent move abroad.

In her post, she wrote that she is “truly grateful” to Don Jazzy, adding that his support made a major difference in her journey. She also thanked him for impacting lives and prayed for God’s blessings upon him.

The donation had initially attracted massive attention online after Don Jazzy reportedly gifted her ₦6 million when she mentioned having an “unhealthy” bank account. The gesture was widely praised at the time as an act of kindness and generosity.

The graduate was part of the 2023 graduating class of UNILAG. The university held its 2024/2025 convocation ceremony on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, on campus, celebrating the achievements of its graduates as they prepared to embark on new chapters in their lives.

In her post, @plantcodesss reflected on how the late graduate had been an inspiration to others, even during difficult times. She highlighted that her sister, Evidence, had always supported the graduate and had hoped for her recovery after seeing her in a challenging situation previously.

“You did your convocation yesterday and today you’re no more. You deserve to be celebrated and you will be. My sister, Evidence was always rooting for you and after seeing you in that miserable condition the last time, I hoped you’d get better. I know you’re smiling from where you are because ‘UNILAG didn’t end you.’ You ended UNILAG, in joy.”
