Filmmaker Biodun Stephen has issued a caution to Nigerian parents.
She advised against surrendering parental authority to a child simply because they have become the primary earner in the household.
In a post shared on Instagram, Biodun acknowledged that while it is true that circumstances may lead a child to support the family financially, this should not result in parents relinquishing their role and responsibilities as guardians.

In a viral video, Phyna expressed concern for Regina’s safety and emotional well-being, urging her to think carefully before making any decisions. “Regina, please don’t go back to Ned. I can’t imagine what would happen to you if you return to him after everything that has happened,” Phyna said.
She added that she was aware of what Regina had endured in her marriage and called on Nigeria’s justice system to take action and ensure fairness in the ongoing situation.
