To commemorate singer Simisola Kosoko, better known as Simi’s birthday, her fans have given back to society.
Simi Army, the singer’s fans, were seen distributing sanitary pads to students in a video that the singer posted on her Instagram page.
Simi Army had gone to a school in Lagos where they educated the female students as well as distributed free sanitary pads to them.
As she noted how it has become their yearly ritual to give back to society on her birthday, a tearful Simi had thanked them for their unceasing display of affection.
The mother of one stated that they are no longer her fans but her family as she described their act as the most thoughtful thing anyone has ever done for her.
“Every year, every single year, you make me cry happy tears. Y’all not just my fans, you’re family. This is one of the most thoughtful things anyone’s ever done for me. I love you”.
