In other news.,…. Dr. Deji Adeleke, billionaire businessman and father of Afrobeats star Davido, has reacted to the long-running paternity allegations involving his son, following renewed discussions online.

The claims were made by an Ibadan-based woman, Ayo Labinjo, who alleged that she had a sexual relationship with Davido during one of his visits to the city several years ago. According to her, the encounter resulted in a pregnancy, and she later gave birth to a baby girl named Anu. She has repeatedly accused the singer of refusing to take responsibility for the child.

The issue resurfaced recently after Anu, through an Instagram page believed to be managed on her behalf, publicly appealed to Davido to undergo another DNA test in order to confirm her paternity.

In response, Davido maintained that five DNA tests have already been conducted and that all results returned negative, firmly denying that he is the child’s father.

Addressing the controversy, Dr. Deji Adeleke backed his son’s position, describing reports circulating on social media as false and misleading. He alleged that the renewed narrative is being driven by investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo, whom he accused of fueling the claims online.

Dr. Adeleke emphasized that science has already resolved the matter, stating that the DNA results clearly show that Anu is not a member of the Adeleke family. He added that due process had been followed and insisted that the issue should be put to rest.
