“You Can’t Defend Tinubu’s Government Without Looking Stupid”- Isaac Fayose Says

  • Isaac Fayose slammed President Bola Tinubu’s administration following an Al Jazeera interview with adviser Daniel Bwala, saying, “You can’t defend this government without looking stupid” as Nigeria remains the fifth deadliest country in the world.

Popular Nigerian businessman and internet personality Isaac Fayose has criticized the administration of President Bola Tinubu, saying defending the government has become a difficult task.

Fayose was reacting to an interview granted by Daniel Bwala to Mehdi Hasan on Al Jazeera’s Head to Head programme.

During the interview, Bwala downplayed some security concerns, stating, “I acknowledge the fact that we have insecurity in Nigeria, we began to see back to back attacks in Nigeria after the Christian genocide narratives.” He added that no country in the world is free from security crises.

In response, Fayose posted a video on his official Facebook page, stating:

“You can’t defend this government without looking stupid. Nigeria is the fifth deadliest country to live in the world and Nigeria is one of the countries that you will see the most wicked politicians. How did we get here?”

Speaking during a recent discussion, Nasboi described Carter Efe as someone who often talks carelessly, but emphasized that creators should be careful not to disrespect the same platform that gave them recognition.

“I know CarterEfe is a loose talker… Don’t speak bad about the game that made you blow,” Nasboi said.

His remarks come amid growing conversations within the skit-making community about loyalty, respect, and the role the industry has played in launching many careers.

Nasboi also revealed that he has cut off communication with another figure in the space, Okiki, stating that he has already blocked him. According to Nasboi, he has personally witnessed efforts by popular skit creator Sydney Talker to support Okiki.

“I already blocked Okiki… I have seen Sydney Talker give Okiki money and a platform,” he added.
