Nigerian singer Skales has reacted angrily to Apostle Harrison Ayintete after the cleric criticised his trending church testimony, making it clear that he felt unfairly judged.
The clash followed Apostle Ayintete’s public dismissal of Skales’ testimony, which he described as ungodly. His remarks quickly circulated online, sparking debate and drawing the singer’s attention.
Skales responded directly in the comment section of the pastor’s post, accusing him of stepping beyond his boundaries. He argued that his testimony was accepted in the church where he shared it and insisted that it was not the pastor’s place to question or condemn him.
He also referenced the biblical instruction against judging others, challenging the cleric to explain the scripture behind his criticism.
The singer wrote:
“Focus on your own church then … if I choose to testify and I go to a church and I am not judged it’s their business you are not God … thou shall not judge … Abi which bible you Dey read ehn gbenusi pastor.”
In the same response, Skales took a personal swipe at the pastor’s appearance while stressing that people should not police faith or testimonies online. He advised the cleric to focus on his own ministry rather than interfering in matters that did not concern him.
Reacting again under the post, Skales suggested that the pastor was using his name and image to gain attention on blogs and social media.
“He wants to use me enter blog … you’re not coming for me but you’re posting my picture up and down… we all know da*mn well you wish you from harvesters as well,” he wrote.
