Popular Nigerian comedian and singer Carter Efe has stirred fresh conversations online after openly comparing Afrobeats superstars Davido and Wizkid, praising one while expressing disappointment in the other.
Speaking during a recent livestream, Carter Efe described Davido as a legend and a genuine supporter, revealing that the DMW boss once joined his livestream and significantly boosted his visibility and momentum.
According to Carter Efe, Davido’s appearance “changed the game” for him, highlighting the singer’s reputation for supporting emerging talents and creatives within the entertainment industry.
However, the comedian did not hide his disappointment with Wizkid, stating that the Starboy singer failed to acknowledge him, even after he released a song dedicated to Wizkid that later topped the charts.
Carter Efe further noted that while Wizkid did not reach out or even offer a greeting, he had time to respond publicly to Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti, a situation the comedian implied was discouraging.

Judy appealed to her followers to refrain from such behavior, emphasizing that she stands for love and not hatred, regardless of any provocation.
“Hi my warriors, my Judy lovers, I want to thank you for the way you love me and fight for me. I don’t take it for granted. I saw some very disturbing images, people in caskets, posts wishing people death, even AI images where the person is already dead. It really broke my heart. Let me be very clear, that kind of action doesn’t represent me. I don’t support it, and it is wrong. Wishing someone death in the name of supporting me, no matter the provocation or trigger, and you allow yourself to be reduced to this level, it will never represent who I am. It is evil. Nobody deserves that. Life is sacred. If you love me, please stop. Don’t turn your support into cruelty. Don’t defend me by losing your humanity. I stand for love. This is too low. It hurts that these are my people. This is not who we are,” she said.
