Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has shared a deeply emotional moment from the set of her latest film, Konge 3, revealing the physical and emotional toll the project took on her.
Taking to Instagram, the actress posted a video showing her in tears after completing the shoot. According to Toriola, the filming experience was overwhelming, as she had been battling illness and undergoing a medical procedure while also dealing with the emotional demands of her role.
She admitted that the character she portrayed in the movie shook her to the core, pushing her to emotional extremes. Despite her condition, she pressed on and completed the project.
Reflecting on the experience, Wumi sympathized with those facing unplanned and difficult life situations, offering a heartfelt prayer that such moments would not end in tragedy.
She wrote;
“Shooting KONGE was a journey. I was in the middle of a procedure, and I was sick and tired.
The character still shook me; it was a lot.
I feel for every person going through happenstance”
Things we didn’t plan, and boom, they just come.
Some have taken a lot to greatness, and some have shown others setbacks.
In all, I pray we don’t become happenstances to tragedy.
